PM Mihai Tudose appointed Gigi Dragomir as President with rank of state secretary of the National Agency for Mineral Resources, thus replacing Iulian Offenberg, who had been appointed President of NAMR on 30 August.
The decisions on Offenberg's dismissal and Dragomir's appointment were published on Tuesday evening in the Official Journal. At the same time, Tudose appointed Offenberg Undersecretary of State and Vice-President of the Competent Regulatory Authority for the Black Sea Petroleum Offshore Operations. Iulian Cliseru was appointed in a similar position.
On 30 August, PM Mihai Tudose had appointed Iulian Offenberg in the position of President, with rank of State Secretary, of the National Agency for Mineral Resources, replacing Aurel Gheorghe. Offenberg has worked at Conversmin, where he had the position of head of department. For a while he was also adviser to the former Senator Haralambie Vochitoiu, until the summer of 2015, when he became adviser to the Economy Minister at the time, Andrei Dominic Gerea. Later, he returned to Conversmin.
